The Technical Project Manager will manage, lead, coordinate and deliver on tasks related to a Medicaid program. This individual will be responsible for the delivery of the IT program and will do so in coordination with executive technical staff. This individual will be required to both manage and provide technical guidance as applicable across the program. JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify and establish program objectives in close coordination with the agency stakeholders on a yearly basis Work closely with the technical leads / team on a day-to-day basis to understand and guide technology solution architecture, design and implementation Work closely with the infrastructure support team to ensure optimal system configuration, performance and reliability to meet established Service Level Agreement (SLA) Work closely with project teams to help identify issues and risks while providing potential solutions and mitigation plans Provide management of project resources including tracking and resolving resource issues and concerns. MANDATORY SKILLS: Must have over 10+ years of IT experience and 5+ years of managing large MMIS solution instances Must have a thorough understanding of the J2EE, Enterprise system architecture, including optimal configuration of server environments Must have a strong technology background in designing enterprise systems and solutions Must be self-driven and proactive with experience performing as a technology leader for setting the direction and guiding the customer and the project team Must have experience with managing resources, including mentoring those resources Should have a bachelor’s degree with excellent written and oral communications.
